Having adequate regulatory and contractual designs for the development of infrastructure and services projects and programs constitutes a fundamental aspect for their success. Each project and program have its own characteristics that make it essential to design contractual and regulatory solutions tailored to each case.
Our Legal Advisory Services (LAS) unit provides a wide range of services in that area. Our legal advisors have worked advising governments in the design of general and sectoral regulatory frameworks of PPP and other contracting modalities in different Latin American countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay, between others.
At the same time, in the area of project structuring, they have participated in countries of the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe advising public and private entities in activities such as regulatory studies, contract design, bidding rules, advice on procedures for hiring, institutional reforms, design of control units, and training.
